Best Trip of my Life: Volunteer in Goa
Hi every body, I will speak about my experience of Gap Year.
So,During the time of June 2013 at April 2014, I made a Gap Year in India, in the community in gorgeous Goa. It was the best thing I never had in my life.
I choose this trip with my parents, but at this moment, I was very scared about go in a country that I didn't know and in where I didn't master the language, and at the information's T V, they show us that India is not really sure for immigrants or tourists. I was afraid of being kidnapped. My mother told me that I have to do this type of trip to be more mature.
I passed maybe 44 weeks in India, My goal was to take one year to be relax, and thought that I can served at anything, so, in Goa, I helped in teaching English and leading activities with little kids, in took care about them, etc…. This was a new situation that I’ve never lived. At first I found teaching a bit of challenge, but it soon became the norm. I was very proud to teach them news things I felt like I was used to something.
Above everything else the best part of it was just being able to help the local teachers and to help the children; many of whom come from very poor town, have fun at school with huge smiles on their faces every day during I played with them. I was very glad of me.
Purpose falling on this trip, I also discover the country, news landscapes, this new cultures, and customs. It was very different compared to what I saw every day. Here, I ate spiders. It was a very good experience.
To finish, I would advise you the site gap year 360, through which I have been away for almost one year, and in where, it happened to me any hassle. There, the India’s population had taken really good care of me.
